Glucophage(Dianben ® -Metformin ® )
Glucophage(Dianben ® -Metformin ® ), Metformin Hydrochloride is an oral antihyperglycemic drug that improves glucose tolerance and is used in the management of non insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus.

Dosage:The dosage range for glucophage is 1000mg to a maximum of 2500mg per day and should be taken with meals.
Precautions: May cause gastrointestinal discomfort. Consult your doctor first if you are currently taking any other diabetes medication. You should not take this if you have any type of kidney or liver disease. Do not use if you drink alcohol. This should not be taken if your are being treated for heart failure with medicines such as Lanoxin ® (digoxin) or Lasix ® (furosemide). Do not use if you are going to have surgery or an x-ray procedure involving the use of contrast agents (dye injection) or if you have had a heart attack, stroke or have a severe infection.
